The Nature of People
Human beings
have claimed to discover truth through faith and tradition, through their own
intuition, and by comparing experiences through the process of reason. What
does it mean to say “I don’t know” and to live with uncertainty? And if we do
not rely on faith, is Humanistic Judaism a religion, a philosophy or something
else?
Part of Rabbi Chalom's continuing Adult Education series on the Philosophy of Secular Humanistic Judaism. All are welcome...you are welcome to drop in for just one class or the entire series.
