Rabbi Daniel Friedman was one of the founders of the Society for Humanistic Judaism and has been a Humanistic rabbi in Deerfield for more than forty years. Rabbi Friedman is a graduate of Brandeis University, received his Master's in Hebrew Letters and was ordained at the Hebrew Union College in 1962. Rabbi Friedman is the author of the book, Jews without Judaism: Conversations with an Unconventional Rabbi, published in 2002 by Prometheus Books.
