Music Shabbat Service: Effective Environmentalism: An Adult Tu B’Shevat Seder
Friday, February 6, 2026 • 19 Sh'vat 5786
7:30 PM - 9:00 PMThe 15th of Shevat (Tu B’Shevat) has evolved over the centuries: from a taxation date for trees in the Mishnah (c. 200 CE) to a mystical fruit seder (c. 1600 CE) to an Israeli reforestation celebration (c. 1900). Today it is a “Jewish Earth Day,” inspiring our care for the environment. But how can our choices be most effective? Join us for fruit, nuts, wine, and conversation!
This Shabbat, we’ll enjoy a Humanistic Tu B’Shevat Seder, complete with 4 cups of wine (non-alcoholic options available) and many varieties of fruits and nuts. Wine and food provided by The Winers!
