Sukkot & Simchat Torah Service
Sunday, October 11, 2020 • 23 Tishrei 5781
4:00 PM - 6:00 PMCelebrate fall by joining us for our all-ages event near our Sukkah to celebrate Sukkot and Simchat Torah. Sukkot is the fall Jewish harvest holiday, and Simchat Torah is a celebration of Jewish learning and our oldest book. We will be observing Covid health protocols (outdoors, masks, sanitizing, no shared materials, etc.) Rabbi Adam Chalom will lead a brief service, including lulav branches, etrog fruit and Torah scroll “show and tell.”
We will provide an individually packed craft activity for children to create and place in the Sukkah or take home. Bring your own picnic for your family along with chairs or blankets to sit around our sukkah.
This program is free and open to everyone! See this flyer for more information.
Also be sure to help us with our Simchat Torah Children’s Book Drive by bringing your new or gently used children’s books to donate to Bernie’s Book Bank!
