Sign-ups have begun for project captains for the March 7, 2020 Mitzvah Day.
This year, we are again partnering with North Shore Unitarian Church for Mitzvah Day! Mitzvah Day is a concerted effort to bring all of NSUC and Kol Hadash together, spending one day performing social justice projects/activities in the community.
We have 9 projects to choose from, followed by a short joint worship service with Rev. Lucas and Rabbi Adam Chalom of Kol Hadash. We will also hold a potluck lunch to celebrate our good deeds.
Choose from our large variety of volunteer projects that cater to diverse interests, capabilities, and ages. Some projects you can do here at NSUC. Other projects are off-site (Greater Northern Illinois Food Bank, Bernie’s Book Bank). You can sign up for more than one project if the project is being held at NSUC!
Click the "Register Now" button below to sign up! Registration will close on March 2nd.
