As another hot summer begins to retreat (we hope!), we must again consider the importance of human action on our environment. There are lots of claimed “green” initiatives, from plastic bag recycling to carbon offsets, but do we have a clear picture of what really causes the problems, and of what we can actually do to help fix it?
