The most important human in the Torah is clearly Moses. Meeting the Hebrew god, leading the people out of Egypt and through the wilderness, negotiating for their survival despite their sins, and, at the end, denied entry into the Promised Land. This week’s Torah portion “V’Zot Ha’Bracha” (Deut. 33:1-34:12) is the last in the Torah, and perhaps the most poignant.
